Dear Mr. Wagoner and Mr. Walton:

Please retire Code Blue today. Do it for his own good, for the good of his unborn progeny, and for the good of the sport.

Do it because the last thing any of us wants to witness is you putting him down in the middle of the arena after he hurts himself so badly that nothing can be done for him.

Do it because it's the right thing to do.

OMG! I don't think I could handle seeing or knowing about a bull being put down in the arena. I just finished reading, "Water For Elephants." A great ending, but the unnecessary cruelity to the animals was horrible!

I hope this happens. The bull has nothing left to prove in the bucking arena-- let him produce some waffle-loving progeny and live the good life.

Nothing more to say except I agree with all of you.

It's such a sad situation.

Did I really hear Chad Berger say that he was against Code Blue bucking last week? Yet the other owners let him buck anyway?

Makes me angry that JB didn't know about that because JB stated earlier in the season that any time Code Blue was in the draft, he'd pick him. I just don't believe JB would have picked him if he thought he wasn't 100%!

Makes me sad!

I think the riders have to take it on faith that the bulls are 100%--it's not their job to take care of that end of the business. The more I hear about this, the angrier I get with Mr. Wagoner and Mr. Walton. They have behaved badly, in my estimation.
