I was certainly annoyed at a few things (let's have a Ford "excursion" commercial wedged between commercials; let's talk up various riders for 10 minutes who promptly buck off), but the bulls brought me back to why I love this sport, and Renato and Valdiron's rides certainly didn't hurt. Marco Eguchi was pretty impressive, too.
Basically, the PBR knows squat about good commentary. If you go over the top about JB and he goes flying, you're just embarrassing him and his whole family. If you balance your statements between how great he is and what his Achilles heel is, nobody's an asshole. (But the PBR has no shortage of assholes.) And how about, oh, I don't know, STFU when they have nothing real to say? Sometimes silence makes things more dramatic than all that hysterical babbling. But what do I know? I'm only a professional actress.

They sure were! Glad to see Robson and Renato ride, though..
As the top 10 riders started to climb aboard, Montana Barn Cat said, "The Brazilians are onstage. Get ready to see some rides."
